MORNINGS UNDER THE OAKS AT SES: Last month, students at Slaughter Elementary got some additional steps in before the morning bell rang! This additional physical activity supports student health and well-being. SES received the 2023-24 Louisiana School Physical Activity Award!


Cup Stacking at JES: To develop their hand-eye coordination skills this year, students at
Jackson Elementary School have learned and practiced the sport of competitive speed stacking during their physical education classes.



SWEET LEARNING AT EF STEAM: For their final project of the school year, East Feliciana STEAM Academy sixth grade students made homemade ice cream in their science class!




CELEBRATING EXCELLENCE AT JES: Jackson Elementary School hosted their Spring Awards Ceremonies last month to celebrate achievement in academics, citizenship, and the arts.


Earlier this month, our middle grade student-athletes concluded a successful season of interscholastic sports with their annual athletics awards banquet. Students from East Feliciana Middle School and East Feliciana STEAM Academy competed together in several sports throughout the course of this school year, representing East Feliciana Public Schools with sportsmanship and excellence. STEPPING INTO THE FUTURE: East Feliciana Middle School hosted their annual Eighth
Grade Promotion Ceremony to celebrate student achievements throughout middle school and encourage students in their next step of entering high school.


Students and staff of EF STEAM recently hosted their 2nd Annual White Coat Ceremony. 1st year students received their white coats to reflect their knowledge of the school’s aquaponics lab, and Founding Students received a special pin commemorating their second year at the school.



All East Feliciana Public Schools and offices will be closed Friday, May 17.
