On Friday, October 8, State Superintendent of Education Dr. Cade Brumley and members of the Louisiana Department of Education team visited East Feliciana Parish to recognize our EF Accelerate/21st CCLC summer program as the state's second-ever Model of Excellence. The purpose of the Models of Excellence initiative is to celebrate excellence in Louisiana schools, to share stories of success and provide models for others to see, and to create high-impact partnerships across school systems. Thank you to our friends from across Louisiana and our partners across our community for joining us to celebrate and learn more about our summer program. EF Accelerate was the first major initiative of #HomegrownPride, our district's five-year strategic plan.
