The McKinney-Vento Act defines homeless children and youths as individuals who lack a fixed, regular, and adequate nighttime residence as well as children and youths who are sharing the housing of other persons due to loss of housing, economic hardship, or a similar reason. If you believe that your child or children fit the above definition, please complete the Louisiana Residency Questionnaire and submit it to your child's school office. You may also contact our district Homeless Liaisons by phone or by email.
