The purpose of our District Leadership Team is to enhance and improve opportunities and outcomes for students in East Feliciana Public Schools through the effective and strategic stewardship of private, local, state, and federal funds and through direct and high-quality service to school leaders, teachers, students, families, and community stakeholders.

Myrties Anderson
Supervisor of Child Welfare and Attendance

As Supervisor of Child Welfare and Attendance, Myrties Anderson provides leadership to East Feliciana Public Schools’ efforts around Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS), attendance, and truancy. She also oversees student hearings and provides support for School Building Level Committees and student enrollment. With 26 years working in education, 19 of which have been with East Feliciana Public Schools, Ms. Anderson has a broad range of certifications and experiences that equip her to support students at all grade levels. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in elementary education from Southern University and A&M College, a Master of Education in curriculum and instruction with an emphasis in educational technology, and a Master of Education and Educational Specialist degree in educational leadership. She is certified as a nursery school through grade eight teacher, computer literacy teacher, educational technology leader and facilitator, and Child Search coordinator. She has served as an elementary, middle, and high school teacher; mentor teacher; assistant principal; principal; Exceptional Student Services instructional support specialist; and technology facilitator. She has been certified as an NIET and CLASS evaluator and participated in writing the first set of standards for Louisiana Pre-K students.

Latricia Ford-Anderson
Early Childhood, Curriculum, and Testing Coordinator

In her current role, Latricia Ford-Anderson ensures all students have access to high-quality curriculum materials, manages funds and coordinates enrollment for early childhood programs, and coordinates implementation of district assessment programs. Under her leadership, East Feliciana Public Schools has expanded access to and quality of early childhood education in our community through the receipt of competitive state and federal grants. Mrs. Ford-Anderson has earned degrees as a Bachelor of Arts in elementary education and a Master of Education in supervision and administration from Southern University and A&M College. During her 25 year career in East Feliciana Public Schools, she has served as an elementary teacher, grade level chairperson, LDOE mentor teacher, LINCS content leader, math specialist, assistant principal, and interim principal. As a teacher, she was named East Feliciana Public Schools’ Elementary Teacher of the Year; and as an administrator, she has been recognized twice as East Feliciana Public Schools’ Employee of the Month.

Sarah Guidry
Human Resources Supervisor and Executive Master Teacher

In her current role, Sarah Guidry leads the recruitment, development, and retention of East Feliciana Public Schools’ diverse and effective team. Under her leadership, the district has continued to implement a comprehensive approach to supporting employees in becoming certified to teach. As a result of these efforts, the district has improved staff retention and has increased the rate of certified teachers by over 10 percent during the last year. Mrs. Guidry received a Bachelor of Arts in elementary education from Southeastern Louisiana University and a Master of Science in education administration and leadership from Nova Southeastern University. In her over 20 year career in education, she has served as a 2nd grade teacher, elementary inclusion resource teacher, kindergarten teacher, Master Teacher, and assistant principal. An expert in early childhood literacy development, she was previously named Port Allen Elementary School Teacher of the Year.

Dr. Jonathan L Loveall
ESSER Coordinator

In his current role, Jonathan Loveall ensures resources and innovations available as a result of federal ESSER funding are aligned to the objectives of East Feliciana Public Schools’ strategic plan, coordinates the district’s communications strategy, and connects stakeholders with the resources they need to be successful in East Feliciana Public Schools. During his time on the East Feliciana Public Schools team, the district has piloted one-to-one device access for students and implementation of the Safe Schools Louisiana app. East Feliciana Public Schools was also in the inaugural cohorts of the Louisiana Department of Education’s Strong School Systems and Reimagine School Systems initiatives. Dr. Loveall has earned degrees as a Bachelor of Arts in American studies and English from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities, a Master of Education in educational leadership from Louisiana State University, and a Doctor of Education in educational leadership from Southeastern Louisiana University. With sixteen years of service in East Feliciana Public Schools, he has served as a fifth grade English language arts and math teacher, reading and math interventionist, instructional support specialist, assistant principal, and virtual education coordinator. He is a National Board Certified Teacher who has completed fellowships with the School Leadership Center of Greater New Orleans, the National Association of Charter School Authorizers, the National Education Association, and the National Institute for School Leadership.

Victoria McMullen-Dunn
Supervisor of Operational Services

In her role as Supervisor of Operational Services, Victoria McMullen-Dunn plans, budgets, supervises, implements, and evaluates maintenance, operations, transportation, technological services, and career and technical education for East Feliciana Public Schools. Under her leadership, the transportation department has installed new routing software on our buses that allows families to track the location of our school buses and when their children get on and off the bus. A graduate of Southern University and A&M College with a Bachelor of Science in secondary education with a concentration in agriculture and a Master of Education in supervision and administration, Mrs. McMullen-Dunn has earned recognition for her exemplary teaching and leadership throughout her twenty year career in East Feliciana Public Schools. As an agriculture teacher, she was named Clinton High School Beginning Teacher of the Year and East Feliciana High School Teacher of the Year. As principal of East Feliciana High School, she was the 2019 Louisiana High School Principal of the Year. She also served as the Director of Leadership Development with the Louisiana Department of Education and was a member of Cohort 5 of the Louisiana Superintendent’s Academy. Committed to community service, she is a lifetime member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.

Maria Newman

Child Nutrition Program Director

Maria Newman serves as the Child Nutrition Program Director for East Feliciana Public Schools.  She previously served as a regional chef for the East Baton Rouge Parish School System Child Nutrition Program. She started her culinary career at sixteen, working for a premier catering company that hosted the LSU Fighting Tigers. In 2009, Newman attended culinary school at the Louisiana Culinary Institute and then began working for the infamous Al Copeland in an all-scratch kitchen. Later, Newman began her career in K-12 schools, working her way through kitchen management and the procurement department to being hired as the first chef employed by the district. She is passionate about creating culinary solutions for the school nutrition program, which includes creating recipes that reflect the dynamic culture of the student body in the East Feliciana Public Schools. Newman states, "It is important to me to develop and serve recipes that reflect dynamic and culture, are healthy, and appeal to the students served daily. I also continue researching ways to implement tactics to aid in combating childhood obesity and food insecurity, prevent plate waste, and increase food consumption." Like many, her curiosity for cooking started in her grandmother's kitchen at a young age making everything from sunny-side-up eggs and toast to deep, rich, flavorful curries. Newman attributes her culinary success to her grandmother. Most recently, she was named Dairy Max School Lunch Hero for 2023. She is a member of the Culinary Institute of America Healthy Kids Collaborative.

Dr. Knight Roddy
Federal Programs Supervisor

As Federal Programs Supervisor, Knight Roddy supervises and administers approximately 20 state and federal grants. In this role, he ensures East Feliciana Public Schools complies with all grant requirements and purposefully and strategically allocates funds from these grants to achieve the objectives of #HomegrownPride, our district’s five-year strategic plan. Under his leadership, the Federal Programs Department has remained in consistent compliance with requirements from the Louisiana Legislative Auditor and the Louisiana Department of Education. A three-time graduate of Louisiana State University, he has earned degrees as a Bachelor of Science in petroleum engineering, a Master of Natural Science in chemistry, and a Doctor of Philosophy in science education. Prior to his work with East Feliciana Public Schools, Dr. Roddy was a petroleum engineer and a surveyor. During his 34 years with East Feliciana Public Schools, he has been a science teacher at Clinton High School, a K-12 science facilitator, and a district grants coordinator. His work in rural place-based science and conservation education has been honored by a variety of organizations, including the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution Conservation Committee and the National Rural Education Association.

Latrice Smith
Director of Exceptional Student Services

In her current role, Latrice Smith oversees all Exceptional Student Services (ESS) and ensures these services remain in compliance with state and federal regulations governing the delivery of services to students with disabilities. Under her leadership, the ESS Department has increased access to resources and opportunities to students with disabilities. Through partnerships and competitive grants, the ESS Department has developed pathways to high school diplomas and career opportunities for students with disabilities and provided intensive services to students with low incidence disabilities. Ms. Smith has earned a Bachelor of Science in child development, a Master of Education in special education, and an additional 30 graduate hours in administration and supervision from Southern University and A&M College. She received her master’s degree through an intensive one-year program as a Project Excel Scholar. Throughout her 27 year career in public education, she has served as a Pre-K teacher, Head Start teacher, special education teacher, first grade teacher, educational diagnostician, and instructional support specialist for exceptional students in both East Feliciana Public Schools and the East Baton Rouge Parish School System. Committed to community service, she is a lifetime member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated and a member of the Louisiana Association of Special Education Administrators, where she previously represented Region II on the Board of Directors.
